If LRT becomes a reality, locate it along .Snelling <br />Avenue with a transit station at Snelling/Larpenteur. <br />11. If LRT becomes a reality, minimize its impact on adjacent <br />properties on the LRT route. <br />12. Encourage high quality, compatible uses <br />that focus on before and after work activities <br />such as restaurants, dry cleaning, day care centers, <br />banks and convenience .shopping in an LRT station area. • <br />13. Require any major building redevelopment in an <br />LRT zone to minimize setbacks between roadways, <br />sidewalks and building entrances and to orient entrances <br />to LRT stations to attractively and easily accommodate <br />pedestrians. <br />14. Require that heliports comply with the licensing <br />requirements of MnDOT, the approach and altitude standards <br />established by the FAA and the noise standards established <br />by the MPCA as requirements of Conditional Use Permit <br />approval. <br />15. Require that no tall towers (obstructions over 500 <br />feet tall) be built within the City. <br />• <br />
