HEIGHTS P.03 <br />11:59 PM Recovered Bicycle - in rear Iot. <br />4:43 PM Warrant Arrest - assisted Ramsey <br />County Sheriff's in a Warrant <br />Arrest. <br />9:53 PM Assault/Damage to Property - <br />Oriental males were suspected of <br />assaulting the JJ's manager. <br />3:10 PM Assault - in rear lat. <br />12:30 AM Assault -Same suspect as ~.n above <br />Assault. <br />4:30 PM Threat Complaint - Related to <br />Assault of 10-x0-90. <br />10:45 AM Burglary <br />Nine of the fifteen calls related to assaults or fights. It is an <br />unfortunate sign of the times that violence is on the increase <br />throughout the 'U.S. These types of Calls involve multi--Car <br />response and involve many more police personnel hours than non' <br />violent calls. They, of course, reflect society, but not in a good <br />light. <br />JJ's should work on interior and rear parking lot security, .even <br />if they have to hire additional help. Locking the rear exit or <br />prohxbitir~g any entry via the rear door may help, but Would <br />increase pedestrian traffic walking easterly around to the front <br />entrance. Restricting hours may also help, as six of the incidents <br />happened 2tt 11 PM or later. <br />2. COIFFURE DU CHIEN PET GROOMING - 1660 N. SHELLING <br />We have had no contact with or complaints relating to this <br />establishment. <br />3. "NO PARKING BETWEEN SIGNS" ON EITHER SIDE OF Tf~E ALLEY ON HE <br />EAST SIDE OF ARONA BETWEEN TAF2PEN~UR AND CALIFORNIA <br />We have had five accidents on Larpenteur at Arona, and one <br />accident in the alley behind 1504 Larpenteur. None of these <br />related to the "No Parking" signs. We have had no other calls <br />or complaints regarding traffic and the parking signs. <br />
