Tke-sW1x~~1ag pools shall be completely <br />enclosed with four foot fencing which shall effectivel <br />prevent the entrance of children and be without external hand <br />or foot holds that would enable a child to climb over it. <br />Chain link fence may be used if o enings in the fabric do <br />not exceed two inches. Gates and Latches. ar~d-The fence openings shall leave-a <br />game be equipped with self-closing gates and self-latching <br />devices ~a1th. All the opendings shall be inaccessible to small <br />children and at least four (4) feet from ground level. In the <br />alternative, the perimeter of the yard including driveway <br />entrance may be fenced and enclosed. The opening between the <br />bottom of the fence and gates and the ground shall be no more <br />than four (4) inches. <br />3. Posts. Construction Fence. No person shall fill or caused to be <br />filled the newly constructed ool or a pool under construction <br />with water to a depth of more than eighteen (18) inches until <br />the Building Inspector authorizes the filling of the ool with <br />water. Such authorization shall be withheld until, as a <br />minimum, the permittee has com lately enclosed the swimming <br />pool with a construction fence. This requirement does not <br />.apply to above ground pools if the walls are at least four (4) <br />feet above grade.
