Currently, the City relies <br />on the property owners to record these land use designations. With the <br />exception of Subdivision recordings, which are infrequent and handled as <br />part of a lengthy approval process, I recon,~nend that the City directly record <br />these documents with the County l~;to assure the State that the City is <br />fulfilling its statutory obligations; 2) to minimize the delay between <br />granting and recording these documents; and 3) to avoid spending administrative <br />time checking on whether or not they are recorded.
