•
MEMORANDUM
To: Members of the Planning Commission
CC: Heather Worthington, City Administrator;
Peter Lindstrom, Council Liaison
From: Deb Jones, Staff Liaison
Subject: Planning Commission Meeting on June 22
Date: June 18, 2004
The Planning Commission has another public hearing scheduled this month, this time to
consider the application made by T.I.E.S. to amend the Zoning Code for the B-3 zone,
adding storage as an interim use. Staff is not recommending approval of this for a
number of reasons which are outlined in the enclosed staff report. We expect some
• Hollywood Court residents to be present and, of course, representatives of TIES. Please
get in touch with me or Heather during office hours Monday or Tuesday if you have any
questions or anything you need to discuss about this issue before the meeting.
As always, it is essential for the Planning Commission to have a quorum present for the
hearing and the decision, so please let the Staff know immediately if you will not be
able to be present. We ended up one short of quorum last month, too late to cancel the
meeting.
Because there was no meeting last month, there are no minutes. Approval of the April
minutes, which you received in last month's packet, is on the agenda.
Finally, the wrap-up discussion of Chapter 9, planned for last month, is now pushed back
to July 27.
See you Tuesday evening!
•
