• ~ FALCON HEIGHTS
2077 W. LARPENTEUR AVENUE FALCON HEIGHTS, MN 55113-5594 PHONE (651) 644-5050 FAX (651) 644-8675
January 22, 2003
Dear Resident:
At the end of November, 2002, the City invited you to a meeting about a proposed Farmer's
Market at the Twin Cities Co-op Federal Credit Union Building at 2025 Larpenteur Avenue. At
that time, I told those in attendance that the city would continue the process of considering the
proposal in the New Year before the Planning Commission and the City Council.
The first step in this continuing process is to hold a public hearing before the Planning
Commission to take input from residents regarding two items:
1) Amendment of the city's zoning ordinance as it relates to Interim Use Permits (IUP); and
2) Provision of an IUP for a Farmer's Market at 2025 W. Larpenteur Avenue.
• Please plan to attend this important meeting so that we can get your feedback about the Farmer's
Market:
Tuesday, February 4, 2003
7:00 p.m.
City Hall
Council Chambers
I have included notes from the November meeting, a map that was handed out at the meeting
showing the location of the proposed Market, as well as copies of the legal notice, and the draft
ordinance. (You may have already received this information in a notice mailed to residents
within 350 feet of the project, which is required by law).
If you wish to discuss the proposed plan before the meeting, please feel free to call me at
651/644-5050, or a-mail me at hworthington@ci.falcon-heights.mn.us. I look forward to seeing
you on the 4th.
Warmest regards,
~~~~~
Heather Worthington
City Administrator
HOME OF THE MINNESOTA STATE FAIR AND THE U OF Nl ST.
