No m <br />p g otor vehicle over one (1) ton <br />capacity bearing a commercial license and no commercially licensed <br />trailer shall be parked or stored in a residential district except when <br />loading, unloading, or rendering service. No campers, boats, trailers, or <br />snowmobiles shall be parked or stored in any front or side yard; boats and <br />unoccupied trailers meeting criteria for "exterior storage" under this code <br />may be stored in the rear yard. <br />g. One (1) family homes may utilize the public street for the loading and <br />unloading of furniture, moving trucks and other common and customary <br />activities associated with residential use, excluding service and repair of <br />vehicles except for the changing of tires, provided such activities do not <br />block street traffic, cause traffic congestion or hazards, or otherwise <br />constitute a public nuisance. <br />Subdivision 6. Signs. Signs are permitted only as follows: <br />a. For the purpose of selling, renting or leasing property, a sign not in <br />excess often (10) square feet in gross surface area may be placed within <br />the front yard, not less than fifteen (15) feet from a property line. <br />• b. Temporary poster signs for political advertising may be posted but <br />must be removed by those responsible for their being posted within ten <br />(10) days following the election for which the sign was posted. <br />c. One (1) name plate sign for each dwelling unit which shall not exceed <br />two (2) square feet in area per surface, and no sign shall have more than <br />two (2) display surfaces. <br />d. No sign shall be located within three (3) feet of the property line. <br />e. Churches, schools and other institutional users, allowed by virtue of <br />pre-existing or conditional use, may have an illuminated sign not <br />exceeding fifty (50) square feet in gross surface area. Temporary signs <br />advertising a special event may be posted after receiving a permit from the <br />Zoning Administrator, and such sign shall not be greater than seventy (70) <br />square feet in gross surface area, not less than thirty (30) feet from a <br />property line and shall not be displayed longer than thirty (30) days. <br />f. Address numbers four inches (4") on the house and alley side of garage <br />as required by 5-9.01 of this Code. <br /> <br />
