b. Side Yard Setback. No pool shall be located within five (5) feet of any <br />side lot line. <br />c. Front Yard Setback. No pool shall be located within five (5) feet of any <br />required front yard. <br />d. Setback to Existing Structures. No pool shall be located within six (6) <br />feet of any principal structure or footing. <br />e. Setback Requirements for Pool Equipment. No pool filter unit, pump, <br />heating unit and/or any other noise making mechanical equipment shall be <br />located within twenty-five (25) feet of any residential structure on adjacent <br />property and not closer than eight (8) feet to any lotline. <br />4. Special Rules for Pools in Two Family Residential Districts or Multiple <br />Family Residential Districts. Private swimming pools intended for and used by <br />occupants and guests of occupants of multiple family dwellings shall adhere to the <br />following regulations: <br />a. No part of the water surface of the swimming pool shall be closer than <br />fifty (50) feet to any lot line. <br />U <br />b. No pumps, filter, or other apparatus used in connection with the pool <br />shall be located closer than fifty (50) feet to any lot line. <br />C. Miscellaneous Requirements. <br />1. Liability. All pools shall be so constructed as to avoid hazard, damage or <br />considerable inconvenience to adjacent property owners or property. The <br />property owner shall be liable for damages to any business or private property <br />caused during pool construction. <br />2. Drainage. All back flushing or pool drainage water shall be directed on top the <br />owner's property or onto approved public drainage ways, and shall not drain onto <br />adjacent private land. Drainage onto public streets or other public drainage ways <br />shall require a conditional use permit. <br />3. Lighting. Any pool lighting above ground shall be directed toward the pool <br />and not toward adjacent property. <br />4. Filling of the Pool. Filling of pools from fire hydrants or other public facilities <br />shall require the permission of the appropriate city officials. <br />n <br />U <br />
