.. <br />• <br />• <br />Planning Commission <br />8/28/07 <br />Workshop <br />ITEM: Falcon Heights Comprehensive Plan -New Draft Sections <br />SUBMITTED BY: Deborah Jones, Planning and Zoning Director <br />REVIEWED BY: Justin Miller, City Administrator <br />Summary: <br />The first rough draft of the narrative text of the Falcon Heights Comprehensive Plan of 2008 is <br />nearly complete. The Planning Commission will have an opportunity for informal discussion of <br />the draft and issues related to the Comp Plan after the Commission's regular meeting on August <br />28. <br />Please read the attached draft and be prepared to discuss. The italicized items are places where <br />staff would especially appreciate your discussion and input. The draft is still an amalgam of the <br />1990s plan, updated, and new portions written by staff. These sources have not been perfectly <br />melded. We know there are many additions (especially maps and tables), refinements and <br />revisions to come, and typos to correct and we would appreciate you giving us your input - <br />including comments you have given before - in writing on paper. Please either mark up the <br />attached copy or write up your input separately with page references. <br />Please also bring your Comp Plan documents from last month, if possible. (If you no longer have <br />them, you can reprint them from the website. The link is under City Government > Agendas and <br />Minutes > Planning Commission Agendas and Minutes.)
