Video display signs are allowed only as <br />provided in Section 19.108(h)(5) of this City Code. <br />(12) Electronic Changeable Copy Signs Prohibited. Electronic changeable copy <br />signs are allowed only as provided in Section 19.108(h)(4) of this City Code. <br />(13) Electronic Graphic Display Signs Prohibited. Electronic graphic display signs <br />are allowed only as provided in Section 19.108(h)(6) of this City Code. <br />Section 19.108. GENERAL PROVISIONS, INCLUDING BASIC <br />DESIGN ELEMENTS. <br />(d) Illumination of Signs. <br />(1) Interference With Traffic. No lighting shall be permitted to be used in any way • <br />in connection with a sign unless it is so effectively shielded so as to prevent beams or <br />rays of light from being directed at any portion of the main-traveled way of the public <br />roadway or onto any residential property, or is of such low intensity or brilliance as not to <br />cause glare or to impair the vision of the driver of any motor vehicle, or to otherwise <br />interfere with any drivers operation of a motor vehicle. <br />(2) Underground Electrical Service. All illuminated freestanding identification signs <br />shall have underground electrical service. <br />(h) Basic Design Elements for Specific Signs. <br />(4) Electronic Changeable Copy Sign. Electronic changeable copy signs must meet <br />the following standards. When attached to walls, electronic changeable copy signs are <br />classified as cabinet signs. <br />(A) Location. The sign must be located on the site of the use identified or advertised <br />by the sign; <br />~s <br />
