The city is accepting applications to fill the <br />vacancy. If you know anyone who has expressed an interest, please let them <br />know. The application form can be downloaded from the website or picked up <br />at City Hall. Appointments are made by the Mayor and confirmed by the City <br />Council. <br />A few weeks ago we mailed you a "Save the Date" postcard for a Capitol Region <br />Watershed District open house in September. That event has been postponed. <br />We do not have a revised date. <br />The sign ordinance is on the Council agenda for this Wednesday, August 27. <br />They have been following your process closely, so we expect a final vote on the <br />ordinance. Thank you again for all your thoughtful work on this issue. <br />That's all until September.
