No. 97-40 <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />COUNCIL RESOLUTION <br />Date: September 24, 1997 <br />-------------------------------------------------------- <br />ARESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE 97-07 <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 97-07 is entitled "An ordinance amending Chapter 9 of <br />the Falcon Heights City Code concerning telecommunications towers and antennas" and <br />contains several pages of text; and <br />WHEREAS, the contents of said ordinance can be summarized as follows: <br />Revises the definition of "antenna" and adds definitions for "personal wireless service", <br />"tower", "tower, multi-user", and "public utility". <br />Describes permit requirements and permit fees for the placement of antennas and towers <br />within the city. <br />Defines site locations, height restrictions, and minimum setbacks for antennas and towers. <br />• Defines lighting, design, and co-location requirements for antennas and towers. <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Section 412.191 authorizes publication of ordinance <br />summaries in lieu of publication of the entire text of ordinances under certain <br />circumstances. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Falcon <br />Heights, Minnesota that: <br />Publication of this resolution, which includes a summary of Ordinance 97-07 will <br />clearly inform the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance <br />2. A copy of this resolution shall be published in lieu of publishing a copy of Ordinance <br />97-07 in its entirety. <br />3.
