No. 97-43 <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />COUNCIL RESOLUTION <br />Date: October 22, 1997 <br />---------------------------------------- <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCES FOR 1588 VINCENT STREET <br />On October 22, 1997, the Falcon Heights City Council approved the following <br />variances for 1588 Vincent Street, legally known as Lot 5, Block 4, Auditor's <br />Subdivision No. 71, St. Paul, Minn. <br />Chapter 9-4.01 subd. 5 (d) which requires landscaping in the front <br />yard <br />A variance to permit a 10' wide by 20' deep paved parking space in the front <br />yard, attached to the existing driveway. <br />Chapter 9-13.04 subd 5 Ih1 which establishes a maximum drivewav width <br />of eiahteen (181 feet for this property <br />A variance to allow a driveway width of nineteen (19) feet. <br />The city council adopted the following findings for granting of the variances at <br />1588 Vincent Street: <br />a. That the granting of the variances will not be detrimental to the public <br />welfare; <br />b. That the granting of the variances will not substantially diminish or <br />impair property values or improvements in the area; <br />c. That the granting of the variances is necessary for the preservation <br />and enjoyment of substantial property rights; <br />d. That the variances will not impair an adequate supply of light and air <br />to adjacent property. <br />e. That the amended variances will not impair the orderly use of the <br />public streets; <br />f. That the variances will not increase the danger of fire or endanger the <br />public safety; <br />
