C <br />No. 97-45 <br />Date: 1 1 /12/97 <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE FOR 1781 N. PRIOR AVENUE <br />On November 12, 1997, the Falcon Heights city council approved the following <br />variance for 1781 N. Prior Avenue, legally known as Lot 1, Block 1, Stratford <br />Professional Office Park, subject to easements: <br />Chapter 9-13.05 subd. 6 which prohibits the loading and unloading of <br />buses from public streets <br />A variance to allow the loading and unloading of vehicles and buses as <br />identified in Exhibit 1. <br />• The city council approved the variance with the following conditions: <br />That the property owner install two street signs along the loading area <br />indicating "No Parking, Loading Zone." <br />That the vehicles loading and unloading passengers in the designated area on <br />Prior Avenue be occupied by a driver. <br />That a crosswalk be painted from the loading area to the school entrance. <br />The city council adopted the following findings for granting of the variance at 1781 <br />N. Prior Avenue: <br />a. That the granting of the variance will not be detrimental to the public <br />welfare; <br />b. That the granting of the variance will not substantially diminish or <br />impair property values or improvements in the area; <br />c. That the granting of the variance is necessary for the preservation and <br />enjoyment of substantial property rights; <br />• <br />
