<br />• <br />No. R-93-27 <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />C O II N C I L R E S O L O T I O N <br />Date: May 26, 1993 <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE FOR 1579(8) HAMLINE AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, Paul White, the proprietor of the Coffee Grounds Coffee <br />Shop, on behalf of the property owner, has requested a variance to place <br />a business sign 2 feet from the south property line and 6 feet from the <br />east property line; and <br />WHEREAS, the planning commission at the May 24, 1993 meeting <br />studied and discussed the issue after which the following findings for <br />recommending the granting of the variance were submitted to the city council: <br />a. That the amendment to the variance will not be detrimental <br />to the public welfare; <br />b. That the amendment to the variance will not substantially <br />diminish or impair property values or improvements in the <br />area; <br />r~ <br />LJ <br />c. That the amendment to the variance is necessary for the <br />preservation and enjoyment of substantial property rights; <br />d. That the amended variance will not impair an adequate <br />supply of light and air to adjacent property; <br />e. That the amended variance will not impair the orderly <br />use of the public streets; and <br />f.
