No. R-93-32 <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N <br />Date: 8/25/93 <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE FOR 1817 SIMPSON <br />WHEREAS, Margaret Sampson, 1.817 Simpson, has requested a variance <br />of three feet on the north sideyard setback for construction of a new garage; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the planning commission at the August 23, 1993 meeting <br />studied and discussed the issue after which the following findings for <br />recommending the granting of the variance were submitted to the city council: <br />a. That the amendment to the variance will not be <br />detrimental to the public welfare; <br />b. That the amendment to the variance will not <br />substantially diminish or impair property values <br />or improvements in the area; <br />• c. That the amendment to the variance is necessary for <br />the preservation and enjoyment of substantial property <br />rights; <br />d. That the amended variance will not impair an adequate <br />supply of light and air to adjacent property; <br />e. That the amended variance will not impair the orderly <br />use of the public streets; and <br />f.
