No. R-92-36 <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N <br />Date: 10/27/93 <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A GARAGE AT 1804 TATUM <br />WHEREAS, on October 27, 1993, the Falcon Heights city council <br />reviewed a request from property owners Curt and Meredith Stockford, 1804 <br />Tatum St., for a 2 ft. 8 inch variance from the required 5 ft. sideyard <br />setback for construction of a new garage; and <br />WHEREAS, the city council made the following findings for approving <br />the granting of the variance: <br />a. That the amendment to the variance will not be detrimental <br />to the public welfare; <br />b. That the amendment to the variance will not substantially <br />diminish or impair property values or improvements in the area; <br />• c. That the amendment to the variance is necessary for the <br />preservation and enjoyment of substantial property rights; <br />d. That the amended variance will not impair an adequate supply <br />of light and air to adjacent property; <br />e. That the amended variance will not impair the orderly use <br />of the public streets; and• <br />f. That the amended variance will not increase the danger of <br />fire or endanger the public safety. <br />g.
