• No. R-92-29 <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N <br />Date: AuQUSt 12 1992 <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR THE <br />OPERATION OF A CERAMICS CLASS AS A HOME OCCUPATION <br />AT 1484 W. CALIFORNIA AVENUE IN AN R-1 ZONE <br />WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights received an application <br />from Maureen Blustein for the issuance of a conditional use permit to <br />establish an operation of a ceramics class as a home occupation at 1484 <br />W. California Ave.; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council did carefully consider the request <br />as well as the recommendations made by the city's planning commission; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of <br />Falcon Heights that a conditional use permit for the operation of a <br />ceramics class as a home occupation at 1484 W. California Ave. be subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />• 1. The home occupation (ceramics classes) must meet all <br />requirements of §9-14.01, Subd. 25 with the exception of <br />2. Hours of operation be limited to three evenings during the <br />week from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. <br />3. Number of participants be limited to ten persons. <br />4. Deliveries be restricted to routine deliveries typical <br />of any non-business residence in an R-1 zone. <br />5. A current lease between property owner and Northome <br />Shopping Center providing parking spaces for the number of <br />students in class. <br />6. Class participants be required to park in the Northome <br />parking lot. <br />7. The facilities meet the fire marshal's, electrical <br />inspector's and building official's codes. The fire <br />marshal annually inspects the business with the renewal <br />of the home occupation license. <br />8. No sales of class ceramics products to outside parties <br />• be conducted on the premises. In other words, no on- <br />going craft shop or sales. (The property owner may have <br />
