No. R-92-48 <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />C O U N C I L R E S O L II T I O N <br />Date: 11/12/92 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF <br />SUNIIKARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 0-92-5 <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 0-92-5 entitled "An Ordinance Amending Chapter <br />8, Part 4, of the City Code relating to Regulation of Trees, Shrubs and <br />other Plants" was adopted by the Falcon Heights City Council on November <br />12, 1992; and <br />WHEREAS, said ordinance contains several pages of text; and <br />WHEREAS, the contents of said ordinance can be summarized as follows: <br />Ordinance R-92-5 does not amend the content or purpose of <br />the code but provides for changes in language to make the <br />code more concise, understandable and less lengthy. <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes Section 412.191 authorizes publication of <br />ordinance summaries in lieu of publication of the entire text of ordinances <br />under certain circumstances; and <br />WHEREAS, the council hereby determines that publication of this <br />resolution, including the title and summary of Ordinance No. R-92-5 will <br />clearly inform the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance. <br />NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the council of the City of <br />Falcon Heights, Minnesota, as follows: <br />1. A copy of this resolution shall be published in lieu <br />of publishing a copy of Ordinance 0-92-5. <br />2.
