<br />No. R-90-45 <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N <br />Date November 28,1999 <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEES FOR <br />COLLECTION OF RECYCLABLE SOLID WASTE <br />AND INCORPORATING SUCH FEE INTO SECTION 5-14.07 <br />OF THE CITY CODE <br />properties with regular collectHongand disposaldofgrecsidential <br />solid waste, and yclable <br />WHEREAS, funding for the collection of these materials has <br />been provided by a service charge on real property imposed by <br />Ramsey County and a grant arrangement between Ramsey County and <br />Falcon Heights, and <br />WHEREAS, effective January 1, 1991, Ramsey County will no <br />longer be imposing a service charge on real property in Falcon <br />Heights for the funding of the recycling program, and it is <br />.` reasonable and necessary for the City of Falcon Hei ht <br />establish and impose a fee on properties in Falcon Heights <br />provided with recycling services by the City, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has enacted Ordinance No. 0-90-9 <br />which adds Section 5-14.08 to the Falcon Heights City Code which <br />authorizes the Council to establish by resolution from time to <br />time the fees for the collection and disposal of solid waste, <br />including recyclable materials. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the <br />hereby establishes the following fees <br />residential properties in the City of <br />January 1, 1991: $4.60 per quarter f~ <br />BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that such <br />the City code, Section 5-14.07 Utilit` <br />following: - <br />City of Falcon Heights <br />which shall be paid by all <br />Falcon Heights commencing <br />~r each separate household. <br />fees be incorporated into <br />~ Fees by adding the <br />c.
