No. R 88-15 <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />• C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N <br />Date August 24, 1988 <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR OPERATION <br />OF A POOL HALL AT 1550 WEST LARPENTEUR AVENUE (NORTHOME <br />SHOPPING CENTER) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights received an application dated July 25, 1988 <br />for the issuance of a conditional use permit to establish a pool hall in Northome <br />Shopping Center, 1550 Gdest Larpenteur Avenue and; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council did carefully consider the request as well as the <br />recommendations made by the City's Planning Commission, and held the required public <br />hearing; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights that <br />a conditional use permit for the establishment of a pool hall at 1550 West Larpenteur <br />Avenue be granted subject to the following conditions: <br />• 1. Maximum hours of operation will be 9:00 A.M. to 12 Midnight weekdays, <br />and 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 A.M. Friday and Saturday. <br />2. Restrictions on use of back parking lot after 8:00 P.M. will be <br />adequately posted by property owner. <br />a. pool hall parking will be restricted to front and side parking <br />lots after 8:00 P.M., <br />b. all Arona exits from parking lot shall be posted "left turn only <br />after 8:00 P.M." <br />3. After 8:00 P.M., the back door will be an exit only, conforming to <br />Fire Code. <br />4. No less than present level of illumination in the rear parking lot <br />will be provided. <br />5. No alcoholic beverages (including 3.2 beer or wine) or controlled <br />substances without a prescription shall be sold, possessed, or <br />consumed on the premises of the pool hall, the common areas within <br />the building, or the parking areas. <br />6. The property owner will post exterior of premises "No Loitering" <br />and will prevent any loitering in common areas within the building <br />• or in the parking areas and sidewalks adjacent to the building. <br />
