CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />No. R-86-50 <br />C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N <br />• _ Date December 10, 1986 <br />A RES~Lt~TION RELATING TO COST, MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF <br />TRAFFIC SIGNALS ON SNELLING AVENUE AND AT LARPENTEUR AND <br />ARONA <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Falcon Heights enter. into an agreement <br />with the state of Minnesota, Department of Transportation, for the following <br />purposes: <br />To Install new Traffic Control Signals with Street Lights, <br />interconnect and Signing on Trunk Highway No. 51 (Snelling <br />Avenue) at County State Aid Highway No. 56 (Hoyt Avenue) - <br />and at County Road No. 144 (Roselawn Avenue); <br />Revise the existing Temporary Traffic Control Signals, Install <br />and Remove Temporary Traffic Control Signals, and Install <br />Permanent Traffic Control Signals with Street Lights, Inter- <br />connect, Emergency Vehicle Pre-emption and Signing on Trunk <br />Highway No. 51 (Snelling Avenue) at County State Aid Highway <br />No. 30 (Larpenteur Avenue), and at County State Aid Highway <br />No. 25 (West County Road B); Remove the existing Temporary <br />Traffic Control Signal, Install and Remove Temporary Traff is <br />Control signals and Install a Permanent Traffic Control Signal <br />with Street Lights, Interconnect and Signing on Trunk Highway <br />No. 51 (Snelling Avenue) at Har Mar Shopping Center Entrance; <br />Revise the existing Traffic Control Signal with Street Lights <br />on County State Aid Highway No. 30 (Larpenteur Avenue) at Arona <br />Street, in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth <br />and contained in Agreement No. 63819, a copy of which was before <br />the Council. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officers be and hereby are <br />authorized to execute such agreement, and thereby assume for and on behalf of <br />the City all of the contractual obligations contained therein. <br />M~•.
