EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA HELD: APRIL 11, 1984 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Ramsey County, Minnesota, was duly held at 7:00 o'clock p.m. The following members of the Council were present: Mayor Eggert, Councilmembers Hard, Chestovich, Ciernia, and Baldwin, and the following were absent: None. adoption: Mayor Eggert intrd.duced the following resolution and moved its RESOLUTION 84-13 RESOLUTION CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON THE AMENDMENT OF THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN FOR DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT N0. 1 WHEREAS' A. The City of Falcon Heights has heretofore formed Development District No. l in the City and adopted a development program and tax increment • financing plan therefor in accordance with P~linnesota Statutes, Section 273.71 to 273.78 and Chapter 472A (collectively the "Act"). B. The City intends to amend the tax increment financing plan. C. In accordance with the provisions of the Act, the City Council will provide the members of the County Board of Commissioners of Ramsey County and the School Board of Independent School District No. 623 a reasonable opportunity to meet with the City Council to discuss the tax increment financing plan, as amended, and will fully inform such members of the fiscal and economic implications of the proposed amendments, NOUI~THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights that a public hearing on said proposal will be held at the time and place set forth in the Notice of Hearing hereto attached and incorporated here- in by reference.- The City Clerk is authorized and directed to cause said Notice of Hearing to be published in the local official newspaper and, if the official newspaper does not have general circulation, in a newspaper of general circulation in the City at least once not less than 10 days nor more than 30 days prior to the date of hearing and to cause a copy of said notice to be mailed to the County Auditor of Ramsey County and the School Board Clerk of Independent School District No. 623. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Baldwin and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofs Mayor Eggert, Councilmembers Hard, Chestovich, Ciernia, and Baldwin, and the following voted against the same: None.
