EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />!• OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA <br />HELD: May 9, 1984 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Ramsey County, Minnesota, was duly <br />held on May 9, .1984 at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br />The following members of the Council were present: Mayor Eggert, Council- <br />members Chestovich, Ciernia, Baldwin and Hard, and the following were absent: <br />None. <br />Mayor Eggert introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 84-17 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AND <br />TAX INCREMENT FINAPdCING PLAN <br />WHEREAS: <br />A. The City of Falcon Heights has heretofore formed Development District <br />No. 1 and adopted a development program and tax increment financing plan <br />therefor under the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Section 273.71 to <br />273.78 and Chapter 472; <br />B. The City desires to amend the development program and tax increment <br />plan for Development District No. 1 to provide for an increase in the amount <br />of general obligation tax increment bonds to be issued under the tax increment <br />financing plan; <br />C. A public hearing was duly held on the amendment of the development <br />program and the tax increment financing on May 9, 1984 in accordance with <br />the provisions of the Act; and <br />D. In accordance with the provisions of the Act, the City Council gave <br />notice of the public hearing to the members of the Board of Commissioners of <br />Ramsey County and the School Board of Independent School District No. 623 <br />so that the City Council could give the County and the School District the <br />fiscal and economic implications of the proposed amendment to the development <br />program and the tax increment financing plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Falcon <br />Heights as follows: <br />1. Development Program. The development program as <br />entitled "Development District No. 1 (September 22, 1982, <br />9, 1984) and Tax Increment Financing Plan for an Economic <br />No. 1 (April 9, 1983)," a copy of which report is on file <br />City Clerk-Administrator, is adopted as the Development P <br />District No. 1. <br />set forth in the report <br />portions amended May <br />Development District <br />in the office of the <br />rogram for Development <br />
