CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on 11th day of <br />July, 198l~. <br />The following members were present: Acting:~!Iayor Chestovich, Council- <br />members Ciernia, Baldwin and Hard and the following were absent: Mayor. Eggert. <br />Councilmembet~Ciernia introduced. the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 84-21 <br />A RESOLUTION FORMING DEVEI'APMENT DISTRICT AND <br />ADOPTING I~'VELOPMENT PROGRAM TtIEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the City of Falcon Heights form a <br />development district and adopt a development program therefor under the <br />provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 172 (the"Act"); and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the Act, the City Council <br />has consulted with its planning agency or department; and <br />k~.EAS, said proposal has heretofore been given preliminary approval by <br />the City Council; and <br />• WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held on said proposal in accordance with <br />the provisions of the Act; <br />NOW, THEREF'ORi~, BE IT RESOLPED, by the City Council of the City of Falcon <br />Heights as followss <br />1. Development District. There is established in the City of Falcon <br />Heights a development district to be known as "Development District No. 2,~' <br />the initial boundaries of which are fixed and determined as shown on the <br />attached Exhibit A incorporated herein by reference. <br />2. Development Program` The development program as set forth in the <br />report entitled "Development District No..2, City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota" <br />and dated July 11, 198l~, a copy of .which is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk-Treasurer, is adopted as the Development Program for Development District <br />No. 2. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Acting Mayor Chestovich and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Chestovich, Councilmembers <br />Ciernia, Baldwin and Hard, and the following voted against the same: None. <br />• <br />
