CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 23rd day of June, 1982. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Eggert, Larson, Ciernia and Chestovich, and the following were absent: None. adoption: Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved its RESOLUTION 82-25 A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON A DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, A DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AND A TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN WHEREAS, the City Council of Falcon Heights has been petitioned by American Shelter Corporation, the Charles Hawkins Estate and Hermes property to permit a development of approximately 26 acres, and WHEREAS, it will require numerous improvements including streets, curb and gutter, storm and sanitary sewer and water utilities requiring financing through the sale of bonds, and WHEREAS, it would be prudent of the City Council to establish a Tax Increment District to provide the retirement of said bonds. • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights that a public hearing be held on July 22, 1982 at 9:30 p.m. in the City Hall at 1644 W. Larpenteur to consider a Development District, a Development Plan and a Tax Increment Financing Plan. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Larson-and upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Eggert, Larson, Ciernia and Chestovich, and the following voted against the same: None.
