CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 23rd day of June, <br />1982. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Eggert, Larson, Ciernia and Chestovich, and the following were absent: None. <br />adoption: <br />Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />RESOLUTION 82-25 <br />A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON A <br />DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, A DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AND <br />A TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Falcon Heights has been petitioned by <br />American Shelter Corporation, the Charles Hawkins Estate and Hermes property <br />to permit a development of approximately 26 acres, and <br />WHEREAS, it will require numerous improvements including streets, curb <br />and gutter, storm and sanitary sewer and water utilities requiring financing <br />through the sale of bonds, and <br />WHEREAS, it would be prudent of the City Council to establish a Tax <br />Increment District to provide the retirement of said bonds. <br />• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Falcon <br />Heights that a public hearing be held on July 22, 1982 at 9:30 p.m. in the City <br />Hall at 1644 W. Larpenteur to consider a Development District, a Development Plan <br />and a Tax Increment Financing Plan. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Larson-and upon a vote being taken the following voted <br />in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Eggert, Larson, Ciernia <br />and Chestovich, and the following voted against the same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this <br />23rd day of June, 1982. <br />Willis C.
