CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call .and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 23rd day of June, 1982. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Eggert, Larson, Ciernia and Chestovich, and the following were absent: None. <br />adoption: <br />Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />RESOLUTION 82-28 <br />A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 82-27 of the Council adopted June 23, <br />1982, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, <br />Inc., consultant engineers, with reference to a storm sewer improvement in the <br />streets and avenues of Gortner, Larpenteur, Prior, Tatum and Lindig, and this. <br />report entitled "Fairview-Larpenteur Storm Drainage Plan for 1982" was re- <br />ceived by the Council on July 6, 1982; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Falcon Heights: <br />1. The Council will consider the storm drainage improvements in <br />accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting and non-abutting <br />property for all or a portion of the costs of the improvement pursuant to <br />. Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, or the levying of a storm sewer improvement <br />tax pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 444, or both. The estimated cost <br />of the improvement is $825,000.00. <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on the proposed improvement on <br />August 4, 1982 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30 p.m, and the <br />Clerk Administrator shall give mailed and published notices of such hearing <br />and improvements as required by law. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Larson and upon a vote being taken-the following <br />voted in favor thereofc Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Eggert, Larson, <br />Ciernia and Chestovich, and the following voted against the same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />.~ <br />illis C.
