CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on August 4, • 1982. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Ciernia, Chestovich, Eggert and Larson, and the following were absent: None. Councilmember Larson introduced-the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 82-31 A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE PRECINCT POLLING PLACES FOR PRECINCTS 1 and 3 OF THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS WHEREAS, the City Council has the power pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 204B.16 to designate the polling place for each precinct within a municipality; and WHEREAS, the polling place for Precincts No. 1 and 3 have been desig- nated at 1644 W. Larpenteur and 1393 W. Garden Ave. (Falcon Heights Elementary School} in the City of Falcon Heights; and WHEREAS, the City Hall site location will be at 2077 W. Larpenteur Ave. for Precinct No. l and due to the closing of-the Falcon Heights Elementary School at 1393 W. Garden Ave., said Precinct No. 3 shall have a polling place • located at 1795 Holton (Falcon Heights United Church of Christ). NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights hereby changes the polling place for Precinct No. 1 of the City of Falcon Heights from 1644 W. Larpenteur Ave. to-2077 W. Larpenteur Ave., and Precinct ~~3 from 1393 W. Garden Ave. to 1795 Holton St. (Falcon Heights United Church of Christ). The motion for the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Warkentien and upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Ciernia, Chestovich, Eggert and Larson, and the following voted against the same: None.
