CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />City Council of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was duly called and held at the City <br />Hall on the 25th day of August, 1982. <br />• The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Ciernia, Chestovich and Larson, and the following were absent: Councilmember Eggert. <br />adoption: <br />Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />RESOLUTION 82-34 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT RELATING <br />TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON ALBERT STREET FROM <br />LARPENTEUR AVENUE TO HOYT AVENUE (M.S.A.P <br />124-102-01), FALCON HEIGHTS <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 25th day of August, 1982, <br />by and between the city of Falcon Heights, in Ramsey County, Minnesota, and the <br />Commissioner of Transportation, State of Minnesota. The Municipal corporation <br />shall hereinafter be called the "City",.and the Commissioner of Transportation <br />of the State of Minnesota, hereinafter shall be referred to as the "Commissioner", <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the "City" has planned the improvement of Albert Street from <br />Larpenteur Avenue to Hoyt Avenue, and <br />WHEREAS, the "City" will be expending Municipal State Aid funds on the <br />improvement of said street, and <br />WHEREAS, said existing street does not conform to the approved minimum <br />standards as previously adopted for such Municipal State Aid streets and that <br />approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal State Aid Street project <br />must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions, and <br />WHEREAS, the extent of these restrictions that would be a necessary <br />prerequisite to the approval of this construction as a Municipal State Aid <br />project in the "City" has been determined; <br />as follows: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED by and between the parties hereto <br />That the "City" shall restrict parking of motor vehicles on both sides <br />of Albert Street from Larpenteur Avenue to Hoyt Avenue, at all times, unless <br />hereafter authorized in writing by the Commissioner. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Larson, and upon a vote being taken the following <br />voted in favor thereoft Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Ciernia, Chestovich <br />and Larson, and the following voted against the same: None. <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was decla d duly passed a d d pted <br />ATTES ~ Willis C.
