CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 25th day of August, 1982. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Larson, Ciernia, and Chestovich and the following were absent: Eggert. <br />Councilmember Larson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION $2-36 <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING LARPENTEUR-GORTNER <br />STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT FROM LARPENTEUR <br />AVENUE SOUTH ON GORTNER TO CONNECT ONTO <br />THE UNIVERSITY STORM DRAINAGE AND AWARD <br />THE CONTRACT TO ERWIN MONTGOMERY CON- <br />STRUCTION IN THE AMOUNT OF $150,757.75 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights held a <br />public hearing at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday August 4, 1982 to consider the storm sewer <br />improvement of Larpenteur Avenue to Gortner and <br />WHEREAS, on the 25th of August, 1982 the City Council reconsidered their <br />action of August 4, 1982 due to a petition of Hewlett-Packard to reconsider the <br />Council determined the improvement to be feasible and, <br />WHEREAS, the lowest responsible bidder was Erwin Montgomery Construction, <br />10883 89th Avenue North, Osseo, Minnesota 55369, in the amount of $150, 757.75, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights hereby <br />orders the storm sewer improvement for Larpenteur Avenue and Gortner, and further <br />awards the contract to Erwin Montgomery Construction in the amount of $150,757.75. <br />The Council further shall consider said project to be partially funded through <br />tax increment finance and a part of the proposed development plan. <br />The motion for the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Chestovich upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmember Ciernia, Chestovich, and Larson and the following voted <br />against the same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />~~ ~. <br />Willis C.A.
