CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council <br />• of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 27th day of October, <br />1982. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Chestovich, Larson, Ciernia, and Eggert and the follwing were absent: None. <br />Councilmember Larson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 82-49 <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />TO CLOSE THE FRONTAGE ROAD ACCESS AT THE NORTHEAST INTERSECTION <br />OF LARPENTEUR AND SNELLING AND REQUEST LIMITED USE OF SUCH RIGHT- <br />OF-WAY <br />WHEREAS, Marvin Stillman, owner of a parcel of land lying northeast <br />of the intersection of Snelling Avenue and Larpenteur Avenue and, <br />WHEREAS, Marvi=n Stillman is contemplating construction of a building <br />for retail business after the total loss of a portion of his retail business <br />by fire, and <br />WHEREAS, to utilize his property effectively the City Council granted <br />• certain variances to Marvin Stillman, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council requires :sir. Stillman to provide adequate parking <br />spaces, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council passed a resolution requesting the Minnesota <br />Department of Transportation to close off the service road at the northeast <br />intersection of Snelling and Larpenteur Avenues and further request the Department <br />to permit. limited use of said right-of-way. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Chestovich and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted= in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Chestovich, Larson, <br />Ciernia, and Eggert, and the following voted against the same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />ATTEST: <br />• <br />Dewan B.
