CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the • City Council of the City of Falcon Heights was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 23rd day of March, 1983. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Eouncilmembers Chestovich, Eggert, Larson and Ciernia, and the following were absent: None. adoption: Councilmember Eggert introduced the following resolution and moved its RESOLUTION 83-$ A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR MODIFICATION OF THE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT N0. 1 AND THE ESTABLISH- MENT OF PROPOSED TAX INCREMENT DISTRICT N0. 1 AND THE ADOPTION OF A TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN RELATING THERETO BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota (the "city"), as follows: Section 1. Public Hearing. This Council shall meet on Wednesday April 20, 1983 at 10:00 p.m., to hold a public hearing on the following matters: (a) the modification of Development District No. 1 (the "Development District"~, (b) .the establishment of a proposed Tax Increment District No. 1 and the • adoption of a Financing Plan for Tax Increment District No. 1, all pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 472A, as amended, and Minnesota Statutes, Sections 273.71 to 273.78, inclusive, as amended. Section 2. Notice of Hearing; Filing of Plans. The City Clerk- Administrator is authorized and directed to cause notice of hearing, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, to be given as required by law, to .place a copy of-the modification of the Development Program for Development District No. 1 and the Tax Increment Financing Plan for proposed Tax Increment District No, l on file at the City Hall and to make such plans available for inspection by the public, commencing April 19, 1983. Section 3. Referral to P1ann.ing Commission. The City Clerk-Administrator is authorized and directed to transmit a copy of the documents cited in Section 2 above to the City's Planning Commission and to request the Planning Commission to consider and comment on whether the said documents are in accordance with the City's Comprehensive Plan.
