CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City <br />. Council of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on April 20, 1983. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Ciernia, Chestovich, Eggert and Larson, and the following were absent: None. <br />Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 83-10 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REZONING OF CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS REQUESTED <br />BY HEWLETT PACKARD CORPORATION <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Falcon Heights. has been petitioned by Hewlett <br />Packard Corporation to zone certain land within the City of Falcon Heights from <br />R-l, One Family Residential District and R-2, One and Two Family Residential <br />District, to B-lA, Limited Business and Processing District, <br />The legal description of said property is as follows: <br />The South 15 acres of the parcel of land which consists of the West <br />20 acres of the East half of the Southwest Quarter and the East 15 <br />acres of the West half of the Southwest Quarter, all in Section 16, <br />Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, except that part <br />of the South 765 feet of said South. l5 acres which lies East of the <br />West 60 feet of said South 765 feet, subject to rights of the public <br />in County Raod A (Larpenteur Avenue) and subject also to cartway <br />easement upon the East 33 feet thereof. <br />Subject to easements and restrickions of record, if any. <br />Containing 5.85 acres, more or less. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Falcon <br />Heights to zone the above described property to B-lA, Limited Business and <br />Processing District, upon proof of purchase by Hewlett-Packard Corporation. <br />The motion for the foregoing resolution was. duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Eggert and upon a vote being taken thereon the following voted <br />in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Ciernia, Chestovich, <br />Eggert and Larson, and the following voted against the same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was dec red duly pass d ad ted. <br />~~ ~; <br />Willis C.
