CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of <br />the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on <br />the 25th day of May, 1983. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Chestovich, Eggert, Larson and Ciernia, and the following members were absent: <br />None. <br />Councilmember Larson introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 83-17 <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING RAMSEY COUNTY BOARD <br />OF COMMISSIONERS TO POST REGULATORY PARKING <br />SIGNS ON THE EAST AND WEST SIDE OF FAIRVIEW <br />AVENUE BEGINNING AT LARPENTEUR AND RUNNING <br />TO ROSELAWN AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has had <br />several requests due to excessive parking, to post Fairview Avenue on the <br />east and west side from Larpenteur Avenue northerly to Roselawn Avenue <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, said parking has created a traffic and snow removal <br />hazard for the County Sheriff and Road Departments, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED, that the City Council of-the City <br />of Falcon Heights respectfully requests the Ramsey County Board of Commission- <br />ers to authorize " Two Hour Parking from 8:00 A.M, to 5:00 P.M., Monday through <br />Friday, Except Holidays" and authorize the Ramsey County Highway Department to <br />erect said signs so enforcement can be conducted. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Eggert, and upon a vote being taken the following <br />voted in favor thereofc Mayor Warkentien, Councilmemhers Chestovich, Eggert, <br />Larson and Ciernia, and the following voted against the same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, the motion was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Willis C.
