CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />• Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular Meeting of <br />the Falcon Heights City Council was held June 8, 1983. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Council- <br />members Ciernia, Chestovich, Eggert and Larson, and the following were <br />absent: None. <br />Councilmember Ciernia introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 83-18 <br />A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE NAME CHANGE <br />FROM FARMERS UNION GRAIN TERMINAL ASSOCIATION <br />TO HARVEST STATES COOPERATIVE AND WELCOMING THE <br />CITY'S NEWEST CORPORATE CITIZEN <br />WHEREAS, the Grain Terminal Association has been a long term, <br />exemplary corporate citizen of the City of Falcon Heights, and <br />WHEREAS, the Grain Terminal Association has consistently <br />demonstrated active concern for the well-being of the community, and <br />WHEREAS, through merger, a new corporate identity has been <br />established, <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Falcon Heights acknowledges <br />and welcomes our newest corporate citizen, Harvest States Cooperatives. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Falcon Heights looks <br />forward to a continuation of our positive and mutually beneficial <br />relationship now with Harvest States Cooperatives. <br />The motion for the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Mayor Warkentien and upon a vote being taken the following voted in <br />favor thereofc Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Ciernia, Chestovich, <br />Eggert and Larson, and the following voted against the same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />~~ .CQ-EGO ~, ~ ~ ~ ~~ <br />Willis C.
