CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />• <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />Falcon Heights City Gouncil was held on November 9, 1983. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Larson, Ciernia, Chestovich, and Eggert and the following were absent: <br />None. <br />Mayor Warkentien, introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 83- 39 <br />A RESOLUTION COM~SENDING MARGARET ESTY FOR <br />HER CONCERN FOR HER NEIGHBORHOOD IN THE <br />ACTION SHE TOOK IN THE APPREHENSION OF A <br />BURGLARY SUSPECT <br />WFII~~AS, the Council of the City of Faloon Heights is concerned <br />over the welfare of its community and citizens, and <br />WHEREAS, the Council has been informed that Margaret Esty, 1781 <br />Albert Street, on October 7, 1983 did observe that an individual was <br />casing the residence at 1788 Albert Street and upon further investigation <br />• on her part observed the suspect eatering a window. Margaret Esty, at <br />that time, confiscated the bicycle used by the suspect and then called <br />the Sheriffs Department. The suspect was apprehended in the act of <br />burglarizing the residential home. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Falcon Heights <br />to go on record as commending Margaret Esty for her concern far the <br />neighborhood and assertive actioa taken by her to thwart a crime in <br />progress. <br />1 <br />Willis C.
