CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the . City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 9th of November, 1983. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Larson, Ciernia and Chestovich, and the following were absent: Councilmember Eggert. Councilmember Chestovich introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 83-41 A RESOLUTION RELATING TO SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS IN THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS Whereas, the City of Falcon Heights has assessed approximately twenty residents of the City with special assessments; and WHEREAS, the City has certified those assessments to the county auditor of Ramsey County so as to place the assessments on the county tax rolls; and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute Section 275.28, Subd. 1, provides that all tax lists shall be deemed completed and all taxes extended thereon, as of October 16 of each year; and • WHEREAS, certain residents that have been assessed desire to pay the assessment in full on or before November 15, 1983. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights that the county auditor of Ramsey County be authorized to accept payment on or before November 15, 1983 of special assessments of any of the approximately twenty residents of the City of Falcon Heights, such payment being in full and including interest through December 31, 1983. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Larson, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:. Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Larson, Ciernia and Chestovich, and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON, the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. ,~ ~,,'` `~ .
