CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, <br />Minnesota, was duly called and held in the City Hall in <br />said City on the 8th day of March, 1978, <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Council- <br />members Black, McGough, Steele and Brown, <br />and the following were absent: None <br />Councilman McGough ntrpduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION 78-10 <br />WHEREAS, the Falcon Heights City Council on October 27, 1977, <br />adopted a resolution opposing the selection of the Bethel <br />College site for a Job Corps Training Center and: <br />WHEREAS, it is felt an intensive study of the potential <br />environmemtal impact of the proposed training center is <br />necessary, <br />THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Falcon Heights City <br />Council supports the Como-Falcon Community Coalition's <br />request that an Environmental Impact Statement be completed <br />before any additional action is taken at the Bethel College <br />Site. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Councilman Steele and upon a vote being <br />taken, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilmembers Black, McGough, Steele and Brown, <br />and the following voted against same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, the said resolution was declared duly passed and <br />adopted. <br />~~ <br />~- <br />'~ <br />. ~~. <br />~f~~G;%rt' ~ ~ v ~~~-T i° <br />WILLIS C.A.
