RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ROLL <br />ON PROJECT 1977-1 HOLLYWOOD COURT <br />STREET AND ALLEY <br />RESOLUTION 78-I2A <br />Councilman McGough moved the adoption of the following resolution: <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT <br />ROLL FOR THE HOLLYWOOD COURT STREET <br />AND ALLEY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 1977-1 <br />WHEREAS, pursusant to notice duly given as required by law, the <br />City Council has met, heard and passed upon all objections to the <br />proposed assessment for the Hollywood Court Street and Alley Improve- <br />ment project 1977-1 and has amended such proposed assessment as it <br />deems just: <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Falcon Heights, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br />made a part hereof is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special <br />assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land there- <br />in is hereby found to be benefitted by the. improvement. <br />2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments <br />extending over a period of ten (10) years, the first of said installments <br />to be payable with general taxes for the year 1978, collectible with such <br />taxes during the year 1979. To the first installment there shall be <br />added interest at the rate of eight per cent (8%) per annum on the entire <br />assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1978. To <br />each subsequent installment, when due, there shall be no added interest <br />for one year at said rate on all unpaid installments. No interest shall <br />be charged if the entire assessment on any property assessed herein is <br />paid by the owner thereof within 30 days from the date hereof; and such <br />property owner may at any time prior to October 30th of any year pay to <br />the County Treasurer the entire amount of the assessment due with interest <br />accrued to December 31st of the year in which said payment is made. <br />3.
