CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the City Council of the C~.ty Qf Falcon Heights <br />Minnesota was held on the 26th day o~ July 19784 <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilmembers Black, McGough, Steele and Brown, and the <br />following were absent: None. <br />Councilmember Black introduced the following Resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 78-18 <br />A RESOLUTION RELATING TO PARKING <br />RESTRICTIONS ON M.S.A.P. 124-103-O1 <br />FROM FAIRVIEW AVENUE TO SNELLING <br />AVENUE IN THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS, <br />MINNESOTA <br />THIS RESOLUTION, passed this 26th day of July, 1978, <br />by the City of Falcon Heights, in Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br />The Municipal corporation shall hereinafter be called the <br />"City"; WITNESSETH. <br />WHEREAS, the "City", has planned the improvement of <br />Roselawn Avenue from Fairview Avenue to Snelling Avenue. <br />WHEREAS, the "City", will be expending Municipal <br />State Aid Funds on the improvement of said Street, and <br />WHEREAS, said improvement does not conform to the <br />approved minimum standards as previously. adopted for such <br />Municipal State Aid Streets and that approval of the pro- <br />posed construction as a Municipal State Aid Street project <br />must therefore be condidtioned upon certain parking restric- <br />tions, and <br />WHEREAS, the extent of these restrictions that would be <br />a necessary prerequisite to the approval of this contruction <br />as a Municipal State Aid project in the "City", has been <br />determined. <br />NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the "City" <br />shall restrict the parking to motor vehicles on the south <br />side of M.S.A.S. 103 (Roselawn Avenue) from Fairview Avenue <br />to Snelling Avenue at all times. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution <br />was duly seconded by Councilmember Steele and upon a <br />vote being taken .thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Black, McGough, Steele and <br />Brown, and the following voted against same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and <br />adopted. <br />~~~ <br />!, <br />Attest: <br />Dewan"B.
