<br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 27th day of <br />September, 1978. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Black, McGough, Steele, and Brown, and the following were absent: None. <br />Council.member Black introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION 78-20 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CLERK ADMINISTRATOR <br />TO EXECUTE THE .~(3SE`~AWq' AVENUE STREET EASEMENT AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA. <br />BE IT HERESY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota, as follows: <br />WHEREAS, The City of Falcon Heights has agreed with Ramsey County and <br />the City of Roseville to participate in the construction costs for the upgrading <br />of Roselawn Avenue, and, <br />WHF~REAS, The University of Minnesota owns the majority of the land lying <br />Southerly of said improvement, and, <br />WHE1'~' , it is necessary to acquire from the University of Minnesota <br />enough right-of-way to complete the contract, and, <br />WHEREAS, The University is desirious of having an agreement signed <br />stipulating ,certain conditions and a monetary amount of $2,139.00 for <br />acquisition . <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby authorizes <br />the Mayor and Clerk Administrator to execute said agreement as stipulated, so <br />that the upgrading of Roselawn Avenue from Snelling Avenue to Fairview can be <br />expedited. <br />
