CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular Meeting of the Ci <br />Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 28th day of <br />February, 1979. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Black, <br />McGough, Steele and Brown, and the following were absent: None. <br />Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION 7;~-11 <br />A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING TH1; NORTHWEST SUBURBAN YOUTH <br />SERVICE BUREAU AND URGING '.LHAT SCHOOL DISTRICTS 621 AND <br />623 TO JOIN IN ON THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT <br />S, The City of Falcon Heights has been supportive financially of the <br />Northwest Suburban Youth Service Bureau wii;h numerous other communities and with <br />and dress opinion that School Districts Ei21 and 623 would likewise be supportive, <br />WHEREAS, the Northwest Suburban Youth Service Bureau is an essential organi- <br />zation to the area it serves in respect to youth and the quality of 1if e, and, <br />WHEREAS, concerns of the Bureau in relationship to the School District and <br />youth have a significant impact on the serazces rendered by the Youth Service <br />Bureau. <br />T, FORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights <br />is supportive of the Northwest Suburban Youth Service Bureau and further urges <br />School Districts 621 and 623 to expeditiously support financially the Bureau's <br />needs as they had originally indicated, and. keeping in mind their utilization of <br />the Youth Service Bureau. <br />The foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Brown and upon <br />a vote being taken the following voted ~saye~ss: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Black, McGough, Steele and Brown and the following voted "nay's: None. <br />WHEREUPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />.. t,r <br />Willis C .
