CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due ca11 and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 1l~th day of <br />March 1979• <br />The following meanbers were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Black, McGough, Steele and Brown, and the following were absent: None. <br />Councilmember McGough introduced the following Resolution and moved its <br />adoption;.. <br />RESOLUTION 79-12 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ST, PAUL WATER DEPARTMENT <br />TO EXCLUDE THE iTNIVERSITY FARM CAMPUS AND STATE FAIR- <br />GROUNDS FROM THE !~~ WATER SURCHARGE AND AUTHORIZE THE <br />MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMEATT <br />WfiEHEAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has adopted a !t~ <br />Water Surcharge based on water usage and, <br />WHEREAS, the University Farm Campus and State Fairgrounds maintain the~.r <br />own water systeum on installation and repairs, therefore there would be no <br />obligatio:: to the City of Falcon Heights to incur at~r expense on the following <br />connections: <br />a. 1527 North 5ne11ing -Minnesota State Agricultural Society <br />• 1lt95 North Snelling - " " " " <br />11171 North Snelling - " " " <br />1283 North Snelling - " " " " <br />1825 Como Avenue - " " " " <br />178'1 Como Avenue - " " " " <br />b. 152 North Cleveland -University of Minnesota St. Paul Campus <br />1250 North Cleveland - " " ~~ " <br />2021 Commonwealth - 'r a n n <br />WHEREAS, the St. Paul. Board of Water Commissioners require an agreement <br />spelling out the exemptions and conditions to insitiute the collection of the <br />!~,$ Water Surcharge, <br />NOW TIiEREF'ORE, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights hereby <br />authorizes the Mayor to execute said agreement on behalf of the City stipulating <br />the exempt commercial property as listed above and authorize the St. Paul Hoard <br />of Water Commissioners to implement the !~~ Water Surcharge immediately. <br />• The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Brown, and upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor <br />
