CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special Meeting of the City <br />• Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 26th day of June, <br />1979. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />McGough, Kurpiewski, Steele and Brown. The following members were absent: None. <br />Councilmember Steele introduced the following Resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 79-17 <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE 1979 SEALCOATING AND GARDEN. AVENUE <br />STREET IMPROVEMENT (MSAP 124-105-02) <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Falcon Heights had advertized for <br />bids to sealcoat streets east of Snelling Avenue and to reconstruct Garden Avenue <br />from Snelling Avenue to Pascal Avenue and, <br />WHEREAS, the following bid was presented at bid opening at 2:00 p.m. <br />June 22, 1979: <br />Black Top Service Co. Sealcoating Garden Avenue <br />1200 W. Highway 13 $52,566.75 $162,129.77 <br />Burnsville, MN <br />Total $214,696.52 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Falcon <br />Heights that the bid be awarded to Black Top Service Co., 1200 West Highway 13, <br />Burnsville, MN to seal coat all streets east of Snelling in the amount of $52,566.75 <br />and to reconstruct Garden Avenue under Project No. MSAP 124-105-02, from Snelling <br />Avenue to Pascal in the amount of $162,129..77. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Mayor Warkentien and upon a vote being taken the following voted <br />"aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers McGough, Kurpiewski, Steele and Brown, and <br />the following voted "nay": None <br />WHEREUPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this 26th <br />day of June, 1979. <br />a <br />illis C.
