CITY OF ~F7ALC'OI~ ~HEZGHTS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 24th day of October, 1979. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown and Stone and the following were absent: None. Councilmember Stone introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 79-25 CHANGE ORDER ROSELAWN AVENUE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MSAP 124-103-OZ - FALCON HEIGHTS WHEREAS, the County of Ramsey is proposing to reconstruct Roselawn Avenue from Fairview to .Cleveland Avenue with financial assistance of the cities of Falcon Heights and Roseville ,:i~SAP 124-103002, WHEREAS, it is the responsibility of Falcon Heights to acquire certain temporary construction easements on the south side of Roselawn Avenue, and, WHEREAS, the property owners of Lot 7, Block 2 of Falcon Woods Addition (Philip R. and Martha R. Melcher, 1998 Autumn) will not agree to such an ease- ment and, WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous that this project be expedited as soon as possible has determined that a retaining wall shall be erected in lieu of a slope NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights to direct the Ramsey County Engineer to incorporate the retaining wall in lieu of the slope on Lot 7, Block 2 Falcon Woods Addition in the final con- struction plans of Roselawn Avenue, Fairview to Cleveland Avenue, Project MSAP 124-103-02, Falcon Heights. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Steele and upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, and Stone and the following voted against same: None.
