CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 13th day <br />of December, 1979. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Steele, Brown and Stone, and the following members were absent: None. <br />Councilmember Steele introduced the following Resolution and moved its <br />adoption. <br />RESOLUTION 79-27 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING NO TRUCK PARKING ON THE EAST <br />SIDE OF ARONA AVENUE BEGINNING FROM LARPENTEUR AVENUE <br />TO CRAWFORD <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has had several <br />requests due to excessive truck parking, to post Arona Avenue on the East <br />side from Larpenteur Avenue northly to Crawford Street and, <br />WHEREAS, said truck parking has created a hazard for traffic movement <br />going westerly from the alley north of Larpenteur Avenue, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Falcon Heights directs the Clerk Administrator to cause the east side of Arona <br />to be posted "No Truck Parking" from Larpenteur Avenue to Crawford Street so <br />enforcement can be conducted. <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Stone and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown and Stone, and <br />the following voted against the same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, the motion was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Attest: <br />_. <br />Dewan B.
