CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS FEBRUARY 7, 1980 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 7th day of February, 1980 at 8:00 p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, Eggert and Larson, and the following were absent: None. adoption: Councilmember Larson introduced the following Resolution and moved its RESOLUTION 80-4 RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL TO GRANT AN EXTENSION OF ONE YEAR FROM JULY 1, 1980, TO COMPLETE THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights is requred by law to submit a Compre- hensive Plan to the Metropolitan Council and, WHEREAS, the City Council has compiled certain data which is available to a planner and, WHEREAS, the City Council is in the process of acquiring a planner to put a report together addressing all aspects of planning and, WHEREAS, certain public hearings must be held and surveys must be completed S which have not been done due to several Councilmember changes as well as Planning Commission Members, which hindered the completion required by law. NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights is requesting the Metropolitan Council to grant extension of one year from July 1, 1980. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Warkentien and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, Eggert and Larson and the following voted against the same: None.
