CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />FEBRUARY 7, 1980 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Falcon Heights was duly called and held at the City Hall <br />in said City on the 7th day of February, 1980 at 8:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, <br />Brown, Eggert and Larson, and the following were absent: None. <br />adoption: <br />Councilmember Larson introduced the following Resolution and moved its <br />RESOLUTION 80-4 <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL TO GRANT <br />AN EXTENSION OF ONE YEAR FROM JULY 1, 1980, TO COMPLETE <br />THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights is requred by law to submit a Compre- <br />hensive Plan to the Metropolitan Council and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has compiled certain data which is available to <br />a planner and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is in the process of acquiring a planner to put a <br />report together addressing all aspects of planning and, <br />WHEREAS, certain public hearings must be held and surveys must be completed <br />S which have not been done due to several Councilmember changes as well as Planning <br />Commission Members, which hindered the completion required by law. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights is requesting <br />the Metropolitan Council to grant extension of one year from July 1, 1980. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded <br />by Mayor Warkentien and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, Eggert and Larson and the <br />following voted against the same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />/ ~ ~ , <br />`'~. <br />Willis C.
