CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice therof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 14th day of <br />May, 1980. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Brown, Eggert and Larson and the following members were absent: Councilmember <br />Steele. <br />Councilmember Eggert introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 80-11 <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING RAMSEY COUNTY TO CONDUCT <br />A SURVEY TO DETERMINE THE FEASIBILITY OF INSTALL- <br />ING A FOUR WAY STOP AT ROSELAWN AND HAMLINE <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has a concern <br />in respect to the traffic flow and pedestrian movement of Hamline Avenue and <br />Roselawn Avenue and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights believes this <br />could be alleviated by installing a four-way stop. sign or a regulator signal, <br />thereby permitting traffic to flow more evenly on Roselawn and Hamline and permit <br />pedestrian movement with safety, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of <br />Falcon. Heights to request that Ramsey County conduct a survey at said intersection <br />(Roselawn and Hamline) to determine the feasibility of installing four-way stop <br />signs or regulator signal which would permit a more even flow of traffic and <br />safe pedestrian movement on Roselawn and Hamline Avenues. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Larson and upon a vote being taken thereon, the follow- <br />ing voted in favor therof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Brown, Eggert and <br />Larson and the following voted against the same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Attest: <br />., <br />~~' <br />ewan B.
