CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />i .Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 28th day of <br />May, 1980. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Steele, Brown, Eggert and Larson, and the .following were absent: None. Council- <br />member Steele introduced the following .resolution and moved its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION 80-14 <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF ASSISTANCE FOR <br />SHADE TREE SANITATION OF PRIVATE PROPERTY UNDER MINNESOTA <br />STATUTE 18.023 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota has entered into a Joint <br />Agreement with ..the Minnesota Department of Agriculture and under Minnesota <br />Statute 18.023 which provides for state assistance for Shade Tree Sanitation <br />program and, <br />WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota requires the City to establish a rate <br />of disbursement: <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Falcon <br />Heights, Minnesota does hereby establish the rate of assistance to private <br />property owners at 50% of the cost of removal effective January 1, 1979, not <br />• to exceed $100.00 per tree, limit to five (5) trees per lot per calendar year. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Brown and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, Eggert and <br />Larson, and the following voted against same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Willis C.
