CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />.JUNE 6, 1980 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the <br />• City Council of the City of Falcon Heights was duly called and held at the <br />City Hall in said City on the 6th day of June, 1980 at 5:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Steele, Brown, Eggert and Larson, and the following were absent: None. <br />adoption: <br />Councilmember Larson introduced the following Resolution and moved its <br />RESOLUTION 80-15 <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL TO <br />GRANT AN EXTENSION OF SIX MONTHS FROM JULY 1, 1980, <br />TO COMPLETE THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights is required by law to submit a <br />Comprehensive Plan to the Metropolitan Council and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has compiled certain data which is available <br />to a planner and, <br />WHEREAS, the Plannner has completed his draft of the Falcon Heights <br />Comprehensive Plan with supporting data and maps and has submitted them to <br />Council and Planning Commission for review and comments and, <br />• WHEREAS, .certain public hearings must be held and, <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission meets on June 16th and the Council <br />on June 25th at which time Public Hearings will be set. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights is re- <br />questing the Metropolitan Council to grant extension of six months to January <br />1, 1981 so that the City can comply with the law. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly <br />seconded by Mayor Warkentien and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, Eggert <br />and Larson and the following voted against the same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />,< <br />Willis C.
