CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS .JUNE 6, 1980 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the • City Council of the City of Falcon Heights was duly called and held at the City Hall in said City on the 6th day of June, 1980 at 5:00 p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, Eggert and Larson, and the following were absent: None. adoption: Councilmember Larson introduced the following Resolution and moved its RESOLUTION 80-15 RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL TO GRANT AN EXTENSION OF SIX MONTHS FROM JULY 1, 1980, TO COMPLETE THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights is required by law to submit a Comprehensive Plan to the Metropolitan Council and, WHEREAS, the City Council has compiled certain data which is available to a planner and, WHEREAS, the Plannner has completed his draft of the Falcon Heights Comprehensive Plan with supporting data and maps and has submitted them to Council and Planning Commission for review and comments and, • WHEREAS, .certain public hearings must be held and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission meets on June 16th and the Council on June 25th at which time Public Hearings will be set. NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights is re- questing the Metropolitan Council to grant extension of six months to January 1, 1981 so that the City can comply with the law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Warkentien and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, Eggert and Larson and the following voted against the same: None.
